I freakin' surrender
October 27, 2016
Arian Foster is calling it quits...for good. On a team that desperately needs him, he decided to hang them up instead of playing another down for the fReaKs ON a leash.
"My father always said, you'll know when it's time to walk away. It has never been more clear than right now. I know it's not commonplace to do it midseason, but I don't want to put my body through the punishment this team asks for any longer." Arian said.
"I want to thank the fReaKs ON a leash, with everything in me, for allowing me to bow out with grace and making this process as easy as possible. Every athlete would love to go out as a Krusty Bowl Champion, riding off into the sunset with the crowd cheering their name. Unfortunately, this team has other plans and they're usually opposite the imagination." Foster wrote in his final letter to the fReaK nation.
The fReaKs are currently in last place with a 2-5 record, and are on a four game losing streak heading into Week 8. Where the fReaKs go from here is anyone's guess, but what we do know is that it just got a little bit harder for them to get out of this hole that they're in.
